How do you feel about used wedding dresses?

This site has very strong connections to eBay and you can certainly find lots of bargain wedding dresses for sale on there, both new and used, but how comfortable would you be with a used wedding dress?
As used clothes go a wedding dress is a pretty great deal - it has probably only been worn once for a matter of hours. Its likely to have been meticulously looked after and professionally cleaned so what’s the problem?
There seems to be 2 major problems. The memories the dress might hold for the previous bride and the fact that you ‘deserve’ a new dress for your (hopefully) one special day. So is it right to buy a used wedding dress?
Well, with potential savings running into thousands of pounds for designer dresses it is becoming increasingly popular and may just be worth it.
